Burnt wood (at the front) and silver (at the back), 32 x 26 x 1 cm 

This work is a small icon-sized panel which has been burnt on the front side and silvered on the reverse. Hung a few inches away from the wall, the silver side reflects onto the wall, which has the effect of cancelling out the shadow cast.

Shadowless est un petit panneau aux proportions d’une icône, qui a été brûlé sur sa face et argenté sur son verso. Accroché à quelques centimètres de distance du mur, le panneau argenté se reflète contre le mur, ce qui a pour effet d’annuler l’ombre projetée.
