This series of works endeavors to share considerations about the fragility of an image or any representation as well as the sacredness of materiality. With the orange pine resin and the effects of burning, the drawing of wooden flames appears to catch fire, suggesting a transcendence of the antagonism of self-destruction and magnification of the temporal and the eternal.

Cette série d’œuvres entreprend de partager des considérations tant sur la fragilité de l’image ou de toute représentation que sur la sacralité de la matérialité. Avec la sève orangée et des jeux de calcination, le dessin des  flammes du bois semble prendre feu suggérant une transcendance de l’antagonisme de l’auto-destruction et de la magnification, du temporel et de l’éternel.
